Browser storage
Cookies Policy
VidaHa uses essential session storage and first-party preferences. It does not currently use advertising or optional analytics trackers.
Effective 25 August 20261. What this policy covers
Cookies are small values stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. This policy describes both because they can serve related purposes even when they are technically different.
2. Storage currently used
| Category | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
| Authentication cookies | Keep you signed in, refresh a session securely, and restore an intended route after authentication | The configured session lifetime is up to 8 hours; provider refresh rules may also apply |
| Authentication session storage | Remember the active sign-in, confirmation, recovery, cooldown, or provider flow without placing private details in the URL | Temporary; normally up to 30 minutes or until the tab storage is cleared |
| Interface preferences | Remember theme, visual-performance, menu, panel, and icon preferences on the same device | Until you change the preference, reset the app, or clear browser storage |
| Security challenge data | Allow Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate activity from automated abuse when enabled | Determined by Cloudflare and the challenge context |
3. Why there is no cookie banner
VidaHa currently uses storage that is necessary to provide authentication, security, requested preferences, and core operation. It does not set advertising cookies or optional analytics cookies. A consent banner would not create a meaningful choice for strictly necessary storage. If non-essential storage is introduced, it will be blocked until any legally required consent is obtained.
4. Third-party services
- Supabase provides authentication and may set or update essential session cookies for the VidaHa domain.
- Google may use its own cookies when you voluntarily visit Google to sign in.
- Cloudflare Turnstile may use technical storage or signals when an anti-abuse challenge is displayed.
- Vercel delivers the application and processes network requests but VidaHa does not currently enable Vercel Web Analytics or advertising tracking.
5. Your controls
- Use Sign out to end the local authenticated session.
- Use the application reset controls or browser settings to clear preferences, cookies, cache, and local storage.
- Block cookies through browser settings, understanding that sign-in and protected features may stop working.
- Manage Google cookies and connected-account permissions from your Google account.
6. Changes and contact
This policy will be updated if storage practices change. Questions can be sent to isvidabogdan@gmail.com.
